Let's start with posting this in one of the tech sections. I'm going to move it. So look for it in S197 General tech.

Are you giving it gas when you let the clutch out?

I'm just sitting at a stop light. Idling fine. All of a sudden
it will die. Starts again easily. Sometimes will almost die
then recover without stepping on gas.

Thanks for the reply!

sounds a like you may have something wrong with your idle air control. First off check to see if you filter is clean or needs cleaning. then check your maf sensor Mass air flow. Then check the connection to the MAF sensor to make sure it is fully connected. If this is all of a sudden it may be a bad batch of gas so try some octane boost and see if there is improvment then if that all fails check the hose that connects your intake tube to the valve cover and make sure you dont have a vacuum leak there. now another trick is reseting your throttle memery. in your computor there is a section that records your driving habits and adjusts the gas to that style. This is why after a week it may seem your mustang has lost some pep it hasnt its just that you dont drive like a maniac all the time so to reset it you need to turn your key on the on postion but your engine off so KOEO then press your gas petel slowly for five seconds all the way to full throttle then back slowly for five seconds turn the key off and then wait a minute then restart your carl you can do this weekly and it resets your active memory recorderl Hope i help and if those fail let me know and state what happens i can then lead you down another track/
