From the looks of things, these guys know fiberglass cobras, but how does that qualify them to work on S197 3-Valve engines?

 

i would love to help you, but i'm in maryland, and you want local... what i would do is go the the local drag strip and talk to the guy or guyswith the fastest modular mustang there. ask him who he works with then talk to them.

 

Ditto - many guys who had lost motors were at shops were they had worked on previous gen. stangs and figured the S197 was just another 'model' mustang.

The S197 is completely different in almost ALL aspects and an entire new platform electronically and mechanically. Having anyone work on your car who doesn't have tons of direct experience with this particular model is a fools errand IMO.
