Default RE: rattle question

I have a Mac O/R Prochamber and a set of BoomTubes installed and had a few rattles that took me forever to find. The first one was when it got warmed up it sounded like someone ringing a bell and a metal on metal squeak. If I shut the car off and hit the tailpipes I could reproduce the sound , but not when cold. That turned out to be the driver side hanger where it slides into the rubber. When cold all looks ok, but when it heated up it moved back a good inch or two rubbing on the metal bracket, I had to bend the metal hanger that is welded to the pipe. The next one was just a plain old rattle sound all the time when I got on it. That one was the passanger side tip where it comes through the bumper cover cutouts. It worked its way up aganst the top of the cutout and was hitting on the metal under the bumper cover. I was surprised to see the metal is right up against the cutout of the cover. I moved the pipe down a bit and all is solved.HTH.

I had a tiny piece ofsomething in my midpipe that was causing a rattle. I have the pypes o/r h-pipe. Used a rubber mallet to tap the midpipe, found out where it was then removed the pipe and cleaned it out
