Diff. front end bumpers

Diff. front end bumpers
As I was driving today I noticed that the new 'stangs hve two different front bumpers.1 which I have doesn't seem to have a great place for the front plate.2 has a nook in it where it seems the plate fits perfect.Can anybody shine some light on this for me.Thanks
