Best radar detector

What functions do you really need in a radar detector? Whats the best one based value wise?

Can't go wrong with CM(passport) or Valentine.....my old CM Solo is over ten years old and still works like a champ.....plus no wires to see.

I have a whistler pro 58, only 140 bucks and it's saved me plenty of times, although cops around here only use K and KA band, no laser that I know of...the STI Driver is the shiznit of detectors, it actually cloaks your vehicle from the radar...$450!

Uh, it doesn't cloak your vehicle, it only hides the radar from Radar Detector "detectors". Hmmmm....I smell a Klingon!
