Default JLT 2 replacement filter

Does anyone know where I can get a JLT 2 cold air kit replacement filter? And, can I recharge my current filter?

Thanks for the advice in advance.

JLT uses the S&B Powerstack filter, which I'm pretty sure can be cleaned etc etc

JLT's website, or whoever you bought your CAI from...I'd just as soon spend the 50 bucks on a new filter than go through the PITA of cleaning it, and worrying about underoiling (lost hp) or overoiling (a mess + may take out a sensor or two)...plus cleaning it properly (air drying) takes about 24 hours...

lol

i sprayed the cleaner on and rinsed it with water. let it dry overnight, sprayed it with the oil and if you miss a spot there will be a white mark. everything is good!

Thanks for the info guys. I found the filter on the JLT site. I think I am going to recharge the old one and buy a spare.

Again, much appreciated!

Keep in mind S&B claims these powerstack filters are better when dirtier, and actually say to let them go 50K miles!!! Way too much imo, but they must use a high figure for a reason...

Do what now? This is the first I have heard of this. Is this like your magic cruise/rpm button that is watched over by God ohnoesaz?

What is the community's feeling on letting a filter go that long? I have always heard 10,000 miles.
