Default Strut Brace with Plenum Cover

I added the 2007 plenum cover and want to add a strut brace as well. What do you think would be the best brace to go with from the list below.

Ford Racing Double Bar
Steeda Double Bar
BMR
Strange Development
Shelby GT-500
Roush

Do you have the plenum cover? Any hood clearance issues?

No clearance probs with plenum. You might not clear hood on some cars and you can put a washer on the back strut bolts. This will tilt the bar just a hair to clear the hood.

As you can see from the picture below, I had to go with Steeda's adjustable billet strut tower brace to clear the plenum cover.

my hood blanket is currently rubbing against my Midwest plenum cover on my '05, so I'm doubting I'll have clearance, even if the bar was as close to the plenum cover as possible without touching. It will probably still hit the hood.

Congrats on adding the cover Dave!

I also hear that the Granatelli single bar is perfect with the cover.

However, since this isa cosmetic piece (unless you have a supercharged convertible), these bars dont look good. Thats why I havent gotten one.

That Steeda Billet is the only one that looks nice, but it costs $$$$$$$$$$$$

I have the factory GT500 STB with the factory intake cover, no clearance problems and no issues with the hood other then the hood insulator rubs the STB
