Default Dyno numbers...

I got my car on a Mustang dyno for the first time yesterday and had to pulls plus got to do a 1/4mile run too(which was alot of fun!). The best numbers were 274rwhp and 296rwtq. I was pretty impressed because i had my car on a dynojet about 2 months ago and only got about 262rwhp and 283rwtq. The only mods I madesince the pulls on the dynojet are an O/R H-pipe and went from an 89oct. tune to a 93oct. tune. The guys at the shop yesterday said my numbers would be in the 285-290rwhp range on a dynojet now. Not bad for an automatic!
Oh, and my 1/4mile time was 13.90 at 103mph, with alot of wheel spin on take off and for some reason it stuttered shifting into 4th gear. I'm guessing with a good reaction time I could run a 13.50 at the track. I'll be finding out this afternoon when I hit the track for the first time in this car. I can't wait!

All I had done on the first trip to the dyno was the CAI, tune and SLP Loudmouths.

I will have some video clips of yesterdays dyno pulls and a little burnout vid too as soon as my friend gets done editing it.

Your reaction time has nothing to do with your quarter mile time.

The reaction time is not added to the quarter mile time.

The only time r/t matters is in bracket racing.

a mustang dyno doesn't necessarily always read lower than a dynojet. If it is calibrated properly it should be pretty damn close.

Here are a couple vids from the dyno pulls, I didn't realize how loud my car was till I heard it on the dyno.

great numbers .... and numbers really are just that so be happy with them and dont read too much into them bc there are so many different conditions that can hurt or help it. Awesome videos the slps sound awesome ,,, i was trying to find a way to get just the slp resonators and replace them with my magnaflow resanators so i could have the slps coming out the side
