Default Installing Dash Overlays?

Can anyone clue me into how I remove the dash and install the overlay? I saw a yellow overlay online and I fell in love

I'm a bit clueless but it seems like an easy job if you know how to do it.

Any takers?

Why not yellow? To each his own - I'm planning on gloss black..

Anyway, I've bee researching this, as I've got the IUP Aluminum look and want to get it gloss black eventually.. From what I've gathered so far, for an overlay kit you shouldn't need to remove the dask at all, they just stick on top.

But I ordered a set from Moss, thinking I may be able to repaint them, but they turned out to be rubber.. So those are going back. I just saw on MRTs site yesterday that they have kits available in paintable ABS, so I may try that route. I'm hoping to avoid complete dash removal - from the Helms manual it looks like the tubes for the vents should come out for painting without pulling the dash.

Where'd you see the Yellow set?

There is no need to remove the dash panels for the overlays. But I had to paint mine gloss
black to go with the carbon fiber kit.If you remove the panels you have to disarm the airbag
and remove it first to gain access to the center piece bolts (pic)And the vents just pull out, with
both thumbs inside the vents I just pulled outward with gently force.
