Well I just got off the phone with my sales guy and gave him a $1k desposit on a 2008 GT Premium Vert. I'm totally excited! This will by my first mustang.

I purchased through X-Plan so the price was about $100 below invoice... bummer there aren't any incentives for the 2008's yet. Dealer said order time is 4-5 weeks... sounds REALLY fast to me but that's fine in my book!

I'll be selling a 2001 GMC Sierra C3... hope to get ~$16k for it and I'm only going to put $10k towards the stang and save the remaining $6k for a HO Whipple which I'll order as soon as they're available for the '08s. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I added heated seats to my vert, they are nice on those cold days, may come with them in one of the packages you ordered also is a passenger power seat available, that would be cool too. Congrats, let the modding begin.

 

Yes, both the heated seats and the power passenger seat ar part of the 'Comfort Group' package.

 

I just called Whipple to inquire about the 2008 release date and the sales guy said very soon... I said 'inside of a month'? and he said 'definately'. Hopefully I'll have it waiting in the garage ready to greet my new baby when she arrives! Yeah, I'll probably wait about 1000 miles to install it though.

 

Congrats on the order. Good luck on the 4-5 weeks though. Mine was one of the first ones ordered (I put my order in May 23rd) and I still don't have it. My office is accross the street from the ford dealer so I find myself staring out everytime I see a car hauler pull up.

Just so you know, it might be easier for you to go without the spoiler delete if you want a GT500 spoiler...see, they use the same holes, and you can sell your regular GT pedestal wing, so then you'll be up a few bucks (the spoiler delete doesn't discount the price at all: it cost the same as with the spoiler)

Thanks... I also think 4-5 weeks is VERY optimistic but I'm thinking they must be building all the initial backlog of 2008 orders by now so hopefully mine will slide into the queue quickly. Congrats on yours too, what did you order?
