Ok guys, I bought a 7 dollar paint pen, what do you think?
Painted tires on one side, other side is original.

Hmm......I think the painted letters look ok, definitely different from what you usually see......I do think it looks sportier!

I say keep it!

 

If you can maintain it, keep it. Its a really good blending of old school and new age, matches the style of the car.

 

It looks good, but I have to agree with Shard; it's gonna be tough to maintain it. Curb check the wheels, rub it up against something somewhere...You'll be redoing it all over again.

yeah, it will take some maintaining if i hit stuff while driving. I bought extra paint for that, also, if I get tired of it, theres a chemical i can put on it to remove it.

Im thinking about giving it a trial and if i dont like it, ill remove it...no harm done. I do like the look of older muscle cars with white letter tires tho...

 

Years ago when painted letters were popular, you could buy a crayon like white stick to go over your letters after cleaning them. That's what I used to do with my first car.

 

Would be better if the tires weren't Pirelli. Something US and old school ;-)

 

just my 2 cents, i would remove it immediately. i think its very ugly.

 

^im with this guy. when your driving down the road at 60 mph its going to look like you have white walls. plus yeah something american if you stay with the look. butA for effort.
