I'm thinking about getting a gt front fascia, but I want to retain the black billet grille look like i have. Mine is an abs plastic, but all the ones that ive seen for the gt that are black are a black painted billet one of which my friend has and it has many chips in the paint from rocks....does this happen to all of them? (im not sure which he has, I know its not the cdc)

not sure if you still want black but CDC has the best billet grill ever made for any car ever. costs like 300 though. It comes in black or chrome. spend the extra dollars and sell your old one on ebay. trust me you will love it. Also they have the side rockers on ebay for about 60 bucks and my friend got a gt bumper for 150. install is easy,makes the car look beefier.

Nonstopred, Where did you get your current grill? I love the look of the offset tri-bar pony. Is it a direct replacement for the stock grill?

 

hey, yeh i'll probably get the cdc if i end up redoing the entire front. I just didnt want to have to get it repainted because my friends was really bad. The main reason i want a gt front is to make it look good, but i also want to get a chin spoiler, but all the ones for the v6 are really weak looking.Since i have the gt500 rear, i want to have the black all the way around the bottom, and basically complete the look.


yes the grille is a full replacement that i just slapped the pony package fender emblem on there.
search black grille under 2005-2007 mustang and they have them on there, it should be under 100.

 

My vote would be to go with the CDC. I really like them.
