That's correct. Drag radials are usually rated at 100. A good friend of mine got less than a year on a brand new set of Falkens rated at 200.

maybe nitto's @ 100.... BFGs are '00'

and the number is a comparative # to other tires.....not an absolute

Which felt softer? Am I the only one that feels new tires? My M&H drag radials must be -100. Softer usually equals better traction so are your new tires harder to break loose? What kind of tires did you get?

The stock pirellis are 400, they are hard like rocks, but still manage to pick up nails like a magnet.

are yours the new tread pattern or the old one? I had the old ones and they seem pretty soft. I got the nanakang sports, I know I know they are cheap tires, but I needed one 285/30/20 in the old BFG KDWs tread because a screw went through the side wall and since it is discontenued I could not get any so insted of paying 300 each for tires I payed 149 each because I had to buy 4 new tires...and I have not had them on the car but one day so I have not tried to break them loose yet..they feel softer but I am wondering if I am going get better traction from these so maybe I can shoot the juice off the line....
