did you check the fuses in the passenger side kick panel? I had that happen to me, though I dont remember the code it set, but I blew a 2.5 amp fuse. took me a while to figure out what happened because I didnt know about the fuse panel in the passenger compartment

I googled this error msg. and pulled others with the same problem.Many are saying ipod,some from sulfur build up.
The dealerships are stumbled (big surprise huh)but a couple have had their fuel pump and sending unit replaced by
them and haven't seen the problem since(my guess 2months).Try to google your code and read up on others stories
about this mysterious b.s.Just trying to help...gotta get that stang back on the streets...strip!

Yeah, I did the same thing and heard a lot of sad stories and learned a bunch about I pods that I did'nt need to know. I am going to be replacing (ordering today) the stock fuel system with the "drop in" Lethal Performance setup with the twin GT pumps that isgood to approximately 850 rwhp. That will not be far off what I will be putting down after I retune it after the fuel pump upgrade, as it was running out of fuel at about 5,400 RPM and we had to take a bunch of timing out after that to keep the motor in one piece. It will probably be the best $1,500 I ever spend and most likely will get me over 800 RWHP and 850 RWTQ.

I was cruising with a bunch of buddies after a group DYNO session and a GTO who thought he was a bad-as* came up along side me and we went for it and instead of getting another in a looong list of kills, my motor died and I coasted to the side of the 55 and my battery was stone cold DEAD...After we put some jumper cables on it, I ran the diagnostic and it came up with DTE FLI DATA ERR and the engine just will not pump a drop of fuel (we pulled the hose off in the engine compartment). There does not appear to be any power going to the pumps (I checked with a volt meter). I had it flat bedded back to my house and am looking for anyone who has any idea's into why this code is coming up and what is causing it? I already pulled the NEG off the battery and I'm getting the same message!
