seatbelt problem

does anyone have a problem with the passenger seatbelt staying in the lock position when someone is sitting in it.the driver side is fine.we have to take a trip soon and my wife hates it.let me know.

We have the same issue. I have looked for a fix and haven't found one yet. So if anyone any ideas please pass it on.

if you mean when the belt stays tight against
your chest, even while driving on a level surface,
yeah my drivers belt does that occaionally too [:@]

Yup, my '05 V6 'vert does the same thing...
Passenger seatbelt locks down on the person there
in hard braking. Was told this is definately covered under warranty.

I'm not in the passenger seat much so...
But the wife did find that by raising up the angle of seat recline,
it all but stopped the problem. Try that.

It is supposed to do that. It locks up as part of a safety feature. To release just make it a bit tighter then it will loosen up. If you pull quickly on the belt, it will make it lock up.
