Painted Calipers - PICS INSIDE
I think the red looks great. Just one bit of red to go with the black and white! Do you like the White Stripes?
The rears look a bit bar though, so I'd say paint the whole thing.
The reason some people paint calipers is that most aftermarket performance ones come in standout colors. It's kinda posing, but not in a real bad way!

I am painting mine black....but I have 20's and the chrome with silver calipers looks weak....this will break up the look and make it look like I have a brake caliper in there somewhere instead of all the silver and chrome! JMO
Maybe I am a little old school here but I don't understand the point of painting stock calipers a color that makes them stand out. Maybe I could understand black...but red / yellow, etc? I could also understand red aftermarket brembo's...
Someone help me understand this....

Back in my younger days (before 4 wheel disk brakes) Brake drums were painted black to make the chrome mag (bullit) wheels stand out more. That was a much better look in my opinion. Having a bright color on your calipers, seems to take attention away from your wheels.

I agree, although back in the day, I had a '67 Chevy Pickup with those white spoke wheels. I painted thr drums red to match the truck. Probably just a fad, like bell bottoms. They came back BTW.
White is surprisingly easy to take care of. I just give them a little wipe when I wipe off my rims. About once a month or so. The dirt just doesn't stick to the glossy paint.

Thanks... Yours also
I looked into white to match the car, but would get dirty fast
Ford blue or black would go un-noticed unless within 5'
Silver would be a wash because for the most part they are silver.
I am not into the "flashy show" but I wanted to accentuate the vehicle. And the red/white contrast on the chrome rims is nice IMHO.

Apparently those who paint them want them to show. If not, why paint them.
They look good. [sm=smiley20.gif]

exactly, why do you want them to show?

black or silver. They hardly show.
