Default Flowmaster AT From EBaY

Has anyone ordered these from Ebay? They are 288 including shipping which seems like a good deal. Also, does anyone have these, and how do they sound? I don't want an obnoxiously loud system,I just want a little more boost to what's already there. I had Flowmaster 40s on my truck and loved them. Thanks for the help!

Go through Brenspeed, I think they are like 295 shipped, and you will get Brents customer service, which is worth the extra few pennies!

I'd go with Brenspeed for the extra few bucks.

As far as sound, it's slightly louder at idle than stock. Definitely a deeper sound. Nice mellow sound at light acceleration, and when you stand on it, the sound really wakes up. It's not as obnoxious as the SLP Loudmouths, so it won't annoy the neighbors. They are not as loud as 40s either. Kind of in between 40s and stock.

Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks all. BTW, how hard are these to install (I don't have a lift and don't weld), or would I be better off just having the dealer put them on (they have a dedicated Mustang Tech there). My only concern would be how much the dealer will charge me for the install.
Thanks again all! I'll look at Brenspeed.

Plus one to Brenspeed.....

I just shipped my Flows back to Brent yesterday, because they started the infamous "kazoo" effect on the drivers side. Prior to that, I loved em. While they are 16 months old, Brent is going to see if his rep will honor the warranty, since it's a known defect.....

You cannot go wrong dealing with Brenspeed. The 11 bucks you save on E Bay are not worth it. Cheap insurance, if you ask me....

Oh, and put em in yourself. About a 45 minute job, no lift needed, no welding.....

i bought them from e-bay for that price and they arrived in perfect shape and pretty quickly.

I'd recommend another axleback though because they don't sound much louder than stock with the cats and then they are too loud and raspy without the cats [&:]

Again, thanks for the great info. What about the FRPP exhaust? How's that sound/install?

Which FRPP exhaust are you talking about? There's the "FRPP Stinger" (which is the agressive one and sounds badass)

And there's "FRPP GTA" which is less agressive but still slightly louder than stock.

Install is very easy. Buy yourself a set of $40 ramps and go to town! Would be cheaper than having the dealer do it, and the ramps always come in handy for oil changes.
