nothing. you already have hi-flow cats stock.

new full exhaust on the other hand = serious HP

It means you'll spend a lot of $$ to get less gain than you would with a simple off road midpipe. Only makes sense if you live somewhere with strict annual emissions testing, or if you're concerned about warranty (although swapping it back to stock isn't much of a job)...however if you get the o/r version you'll need MIL eliminators or a retune to trick the rear 02 sensors...

hmmmm.....

i have the borla axle backs with stock headers and midpipe......

I love my borlas but they still seem to hold back a lot of air........

would getting a midpipe open it up more and give me a better sound? or will i have to do headers too?

The general consensus seems to be that shorty headers are not worth the added hp gain for the $$$, especially when you factor in the labor. I had an o/r H + flo 2 chambers on my old 5.0 and when I put bbk shorties on it I noticed -0- difference in sound and power.
...I'm sure you already know this but LTs + retune would give you more of a gain than shorties, but then you've got to get a different midpipe, plus again they are very expensive esp. with labor factored into the equation. Headers aren't a good bang-for-buck mod...
...p.s. my exhaust got pretty damn loud with my o/r x added to the flo's...trumpety tinny loud, but that's the flo's (every forum member will tell you it sounds like a$$ but I don't mind it lol)...
