Texas Mustangs
Gentlemen,
I have just recieved a transfer from Phoenix AZ to San Antonio. My first thought was, OH NO, Texas makes you wear a FRONT license plate. How many Texas Mustangs use the front plate, how many have been pulled over for not having it?
Thanks.

RE: Texas Mustangs
If I were you I would find a friend or family member who would let me say I paid rent at their house (out of state so you don't have to) My aunt lives in dallas and drive a stang and she didn't want to put a front liscense plate on hers so she claims to live w/me...lol. other then that I think you are screwed.

RE: Texas Mustangs
Dont have a front plate and Ive been pulled over 2 times for it but both were warnings. Thats all they give is warnings but they wont always pull you over for it either. Every now and then maybe.

RE: Texas Mustangs
if the cop pulls you over and asks why you dont have a front plate, play dumb. tell the cop that your front plate was there yesterday and that someone must have stolen it. the cop will usually be unwilling to do the paperwork for a stolen plate and will let you off with advice to get new plates. this information was told to me by an SAPD officer.
