Default Need some advice ASAP!!

Well people the GT500KR 40th Anniversary Edition (sexiest Mustang ever!!) is due out in the spring of ’08 and I just found out the dealership near me can order 2. I’m about 40,000 short after trade in of my ’07 GT. What should I do?

Wrap my car in 10 inches of silk thread, suspend it from a tree until the spring and hope it morphs into a GT500KR

Knock off approximately 200 liquor stores for $200 a pop

Sell a kidney and about 4-6 inches of my small intestine on the black market

Other (Leave your idea)

Be happy with what you got.....I cant see you getting a KR edition for anywhere close to 70k since they are in much limited production compared to the GT500.....

Assuming you're only counting the value of your trade towards the purchase (no money down), then you're waaaay more than $40k short. The MSRP is I think around $70k, but I guarantee you they will sell for $100k+.

I saw a documentary on the **** industry once, and apparently gay **** pays the best, so there's always that.

MSRP, Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price, pay any more than that and you just gave your hard earned cash to some rich greedy dealer, keep the 07, mod it, drive it and enjoy it. With the extra cash you can afford to see collectible cars at a museum.

The price is going to be crazy high on these cars and don't think they will be coming down anytime soon.

I have seriously consideredand looked into the possibilty of swapping in that motor, trans, 8.8 rear end and supporting partsin my car and make my own SVT per say. You can get theCOMPLETE motor not talking long block here but totally completeGT 500 5.4 S/C motor depending on who you know for around 13K. My car is not a DD so doing this project would not be a problem and having a car capable of 500rwhp-650 rwhpw/stock blower and supporting mods (mods listed below w/factory s/c)) or from 650rwhp -800+rwhp per KB upgrade for me is the way to go. So instead of buying a 09 or 2010 Mustang and the KR no way gone happenfor what they are going to be going forI would just keep this car as I love this S197 body style if I did this swap.

Your talking an anywhere from a 9sec car w/KB and setting up to get the power down to the ground of course and a10 seccar running thethe stock superchargerwith supporting bolt on mods, gears, DR's ,exhaust, LCA's, ported stock blower, pulley, etcbut still on a stock short/longblock not bad if you ask me as an option for some of us.

leave the wife and kids, sell the house, cash
in the 401(k)......life just isn't worth living, if you
can't have the KR to drive whenever you want

Best advice: Dream on! Only the rich and famous, with champagne wishes and caviar dreams will get one of those, I would bet that the dealer himself will get one for his personal stable. Then theother one will get marked up well beyond any reasonable recognition of the original MSRP. Big car collectors and celebrities like Jay Leno and such will be sucking those puppies up. If I had that kind of cash to throw around, I'd rather buy a Ford GT than oneof those any day.
