Default O/R X-Pipe installed

I installed an O/R X-Pipe recently and was disappointed by the sound. It trumpets really bad, expecially when cold. I have the FRPP GTA mufflers and was wondering if switching back to the factory mufflers would help? My next option is to install resonators before the axle.

HELP!!

just leave it the way it is...it's not that bad once you get used to it hehe...
...but yeah the stockers would quiet it down, they're heavier than FRPPs but some say a/b's cut a ft-lb or two so I'd say performance wise nothing would change.

Should have went with a H instead they have the deeper sound to them.

I had an H at one time, it lasted all of 2 days, sounded like a sick dump truck. Probably should quit wasting money on exhaust and spent it elsewhere, lol

+1 if I could do my mods all over again exhaust would be my BOTTOM priority...

To be honest the only reason I am doing this is because I race in a street legal class every friday night. My car is always the quietest car there. I just want to fit in....hehe

I bought the pypes o/r h-pipe and ran it with the Bassani SS race axlebacks = TOO LOUD. I had to install 18" resonators before the axle. The resonators got rid of my trumpeting. Neighbors appreciate the resonators ecspecially when I leave for work at 4am.

I'm considering this option since Summit Racing is about 1/2 an hour from me.

Nothing to me is too loud! I love popping sounds, drone sounds and especially the sound of racing cams.
