Default more power from bad weather???

so I was driving home from work today while it was raining cats and dogs and noticed my car was acting... well, different. it seemed to have a lot more power and MUCH deeper sound. when I would rev it up it sounded very aggressive, way more than usual. I'm usually driving in hot conditions, so could this be due to the cooler air entering my engine? whatever it was from, it was awesome lol.

Idk maybe it could as be due to the fact its easy to break loose the tires in wet weather. Something to consider.

Your car will run stronger in cooler weather. Cooler air is denser than warm air which means you're getting more air to the engine.

Yes, cool air, around 60 or colder, it will run better. Moisture in the air is not really a factor. Temperature is! However, hothumid weather is a real power drain!

yeah, that's colder/denser air = more oxygen to burn. that's why they have CAI's. Also, speed is felt more in rain IMHO.

hot weather makes for more efficiency. fuel vaporizes easier.
