Default Front end crunching

When I go over speed bumpsor steep driveway lips slowly, my front end makes a crunch sound, as if the shocks are rusty or something. Anyone else have this? Ideas?

Could you describe this sound as a 'thunk' maybe?

Or a "chuckle"?
Search "klunk"

LOL

Its a muscle car man... If you want luxury get an Acura or something. My car shakes, vibrates, clunks, thunks, rumbles, rattles and had this been a previous car I wouldve been ticked off... But since its a muscle car, and I've modded it, then this is sort of what to expect. It wasn't built to haul grandma and grandpa to church.

Instead it was built for mom to haul timmy to soccer practice.

Just kidding... Well, not really... But you get the point

I don't want to appear to be an A$$, but my car does none of those things and I'd be pi$$ed if it would. It did have a minor case of the famous thunks, but that was corrected on Fords dime.

Yep - I have it. I'd describe it as a creak. In fact, if you push down on the front end, you'll hear it then, too. My car is a the dealer now for the updated strut mounts to fix the "chuckle" sound. We'll see if that fixes the creak as well. I'll update when I get it back tomorrow.

I'd be glad to hear if your new strut mount fixes the crunch. It sounds like arthritis. I don't like it. I have 18k miles on my 07.

Strut mounts didn't fix the creak. Fixed the clunk, but not the creak. I bet it's the lower control arm bushings. I'm taking it back in a couple weeks.
