Default Canada Residual Value

Hello, I am looking to buy a new Mustang GT. I am located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I am in a position where I have to lease the vehicle, but am a little worried the residual value will be really low. Can someone give me a rough idea on what the residual value is for a 2007 or 2008 Mustang GT that is loaded. Retail value here in Canada is approx $38,000. I would be leasing for 4 years.

Thanks. Just a rough estimate, i don't need to know exact figures. I am estimating the residual value to be approx $17,500

I agree, leasing over 4 years is such a huge wad of dough that buying it would be the best route, although I do understand the requirement for leasing over purchase.

Residual value would be pretty poor I would say with variances on miles covered etc of course. Have a look at 2005 prices and extrapolate, taking into account that fact that once the bumper-to-bumber warranty drops away, so the value will take a dump also.
