Default what is going on?

Ok here’s the deal I bought my 07 gt couple about a month ago.. I have about 1800 on it.. This was my first manual car, so the first week was a little rough and then after that I had it down… but the problem is that those first couple weeks it felt a little faster… I could chirp second without trying.. Now I have actually tried to do it and can seem to… I have read in other post that you get used to the power and the adaptive learning thing (going to disconnect the battery this weekend) … but what are your guy’s thoughts on this …. I couldn’t have burn through the clutch that fast right?…. (Wasn’t that rough)

you'd have to be the worst driver on the planet to have killed the clutch that fast! Probably just the adaptive learning everyone talks about.

Tires may be breaking in too, getting better traction.

Yea that’s what I was figuring about killing the clutch …and the tire idea makes sense … but shouldn’t it be fairly easy to break lose in second a little??

look up the throttle reset, it works a lot faster then disconnecting your bat.

or ill just explain it:

put the key in your car to the on position, Dont start it
wait till the warning lights go off, about 7 sec
push the throttle all the way down then all the way up, at a moderate speed, about 1 second each way
turn the car to off and pull out the key
wait about 10 seconds, then turn the car back on
Vullah! try chirping now, make sure your T/C is off

And then, go buy urself a tune
