I personally love the look of the headlight splitters......I think they make the front of the car look more aggressive and sportier......obviously Parnelli Jones did as well as he chose to have them on his edition of the 2007 Saleen 281.........I plan to have a pair installed on my car........function? setting the car off a lil' more!
I saw a vehicle off in the distance, looked like a headlight splitter, very aggresive and sporty. Turned out it was one of the Chrysler or Dodge "cars" with that big horizontal bar across the front. It looked like putting ugly on ugly. Some kind of a theme there, eh?

I think the Pony grille helps the look. The line continues off onto the splitters. They do not look as good on the GT grille.

Well, I suppose we all have our different views here on the matter, but I personally stick to my original posting and I like the look of the splitters. I want a pair!!!!!!!!!!

wow scotte28... get offended much? the GT500 chin spoiler is probably the best mod for the money. I spent 40 bucks on mine and it really lowers the car. not sure your CDC is doing much either.

I think that if I were to designa roof scoop for the S197, similar to those on rally cars, some of the people in this forum would tape it on..

Nope. I didn't get offended at all.Don't know what you read into it. Obviously I don't read as well as you.[8D]It was sarcasm. Look it up in Websters. I like the looks of both the CDC Classic and the GT500 chins. Don't know about it "lowering" the car. My CDC is purely for looks. That's the only reason I bought it. I guarantee it isn't doing anything to help. By the way, since we're not driving our cars around at 175+ downforce is of no use to us in the front or rear.

head light splitters are really not vey attractive on a retro-styled Mustang.
It does not conform to the overall retro styling.
They might look good on a Honda though.

I have them on my car and there is no problem with the light blockage.
