my interior feels the same as my dodge ram did, and my camaro, and my wifes fusion, and my parents equinox... point being.. its all teh same stuff! I dont get the plastic issue either... sure beats a rusty metal dash like my jeeps!

this is exactly why i picked a mustang... theres no other car like it now. if i wanted something in the same price range i could go for atoyota or pontiac or something, but theres no history to the other cars, our cars will ALWAYS be cool, even when new models come out. as opposed to all other cars, no matter how cool they are now, whena new model or bodystylecomes out your car is old. mustangs are forever. i have the IUP and i dont think its cheap at all, but i have been in a bare bones mustang and its not all that great

I have the IUP, etc., but with the CS edition Mustangs, you had to get a two-toned interior. When I ordered my car, I must admit, I was worried about how everything would turn out in the end, because I ordered the black/parchment interior and didn't know if the bright satin dash would look strange against the tan interior.

Well, when I picked up the car that was the first thing I went to look at. Bottom line: I absolutely LOVE the two-toned interior and the satin dash against the parchment didn't look that bad either, and every day I find that that look grows on me more and more.

I think the interior of the s197's are far better looking the previous models. I have the IUP with that satin silver dash and everyone that's seen it comments about how bad-*** it looks. Ford has just done an outstanding job with these cars. Car critics are morons...

i went from driving something with "race car" comforts (harsh ride, no a/c, no radio, no power steering (no power anything come to think of it)) and i think that our interior is a great interior for a car that is not a luxury car. stangs are not, and will never be, luxury cars. if the euro fans don't like it then they don't have to buy the car but they'll still keep it as an excuse as to why the cars they like are better when they may or may not be better performers. frankly (my dear) i don't give a damn. the only interior that matters to me right now is the one I pay for and I plan on enjoying the very comfortable leather seats and nice satin dash with piping a/c for as long as I have it. the shortcomings of others have no impact on me when I'm driving.

I agree... not cheap looking at all. If you want... spend $300 for some chrome accent (interior) pieces and you can TOTAL spice up the look (not needed - but adds to the overall feel)

I like a simple interior although I do think the doors need the interior upgrade. I think the interiors of BMWs and Audis are over-rated. Frankly,I don't need it so why would I want to pay for it? I've had a load of cars and to be honest, the modern cars are worse than the old cars. As a comparison. a Vauxhall Astra inerior over here in the UK is far worse. Even the base BMWs are crap.

I found 4th gen f-body interiors to be more than adequate and very comfortable but I guess that's just me.
