Hi all,

Just picked up a beautiful black 2007 GT/CS California Special with the cloth convertible top. Beautiful car -- just one question. On the door sill plate, on the driver's side, there is an aluminum scuff plate (where it says "MUSTANG"). No such plate on the passenger's side. I asked the dealer, but didn't get a positive answer. On the build sheet (and the online options) it states "aluminum scuff plate" in singular form, but on all the brochures (2007 AND 2008), it is listed as a plural, leading to the belief that there should be an aluminum scuff plate on both sides. Can somebody with a GT/CS please confirm whether or not there is a plate on the passenger's side?

I have the plate on both sides of my GT...I put RED in them

Thanks for the pic. Yes, those are the plates I'm talking about...

 

Then they should definitly be on both sides...go back to the dealer..

 

Should be on both sides of any car with IUP ...

 

ive got two.. doesnt make sence for them to put one on one side and none on the other

 

I've got two also. You need to get the dealer to cough up the other one.

 

Definatly supposed to be on both sides!
