Default I've got the infamous leak. Need tsb info

I searched the forums and can't find the thread with the TSB info on the water leak on the passenger side by the kick panel.

Heavy rains today and I am driving along when my dash lights up like it's xmas. All my idiot lights are on and my turn signals quit working.

after shutting the car off and restarting it's back to normal. I check the carpet and the passenger side is soaked in the spot that has been discussed many times. No one has even been on my passenger side for a couple days.

I am not happy[:@]

pinch welds pinch welds pinch welds! Tell the dealership to take off the wiper cowls and ask them to inspect the pinch welds. Seam sealer and new carpet should do the trick!

I'm convinced mine leaked through the 10 cheap foam rubber grommet seals that retain the cowl panels. I removed all of then & installed the cowl retainers with sealer & it hasn't leaked again. When I originally removed the cowl retainers the area below was filled to the top with water & when I turnedleft it would run around the inside & come out by the A pillar & run down kick panel. Hardest part of repair is removing the wiper arms.
