Default Hurst or Steeda Shifter?

I am thinking about ordering a new shifter. Would you recommend the Hurst or the Steeda sport? They are both $190. I am kinda leaning towards the Hurst though.

I would go with the Hurst. I have some friends who haven't been too happy with their Steeda shifters.

I picked the Hurst because it seems like you can hear good and bad about every shifter out there. Some are in love with the hurst, some not so much. same goes for the B&M and Steeda tri-ax. The pro 5.0 seems good, and pricey, but even that shifter has some people who hate it.

Whats my point? Any short shifter will please you, and thats the plain truth. The hurst will save you money, and also includes a classic white shift ball. You may as well save money and get the hurst.

I would say avoid the Steeda Tri-ax at $275ish. Theres nothing wrong with it at all, it may even be better than the hurst for some people, but at that price its only a tad cheaper than the MGW shifter which appears to be the king of shifters. EVERYONE loves the MGW. If you have the money, get the MGW.

If you don't want to spend $300 then just save your money and get the hurst.

Hurst hands down "looks" the best while every other shifter preforms better. When I get mine though its going to be Hurst

Hurst rocks. I'm 6'3" and it make shifting a lot easier. I have 0 complaints. I didn't like the white ball so I bought the black one instead from Summit.
