Washing the car?

What do you guys use to wash your cars with? Terry cloth sponge? Regular sponge? Worried about using the wrong thing and causing swirls...

microcloth, nothing else. As far as the product used, Maquires.

Cotton washing mitt + Mothers California Gold soap; I dry with a microfiber cloth and once every 2 months I put on a fresh layer of Meguiars NXT wax.
That does the trick for me!

+1 easy to put on and on easy to rub off; I used to have Gold for my other car, but it looks like NXT lasts longer. NXT all the way

i use a microfibre towel for detail spray. microfibre sponge(awesome!). i use the whole ice line of products, wash, wax, detail spray, claybar. u cant go wrong with mequires tho!

I dont like maguiers line... I use that stuff on my GF's car since its cheaper but it wont go anywhere near mine. Concours and Klasse is the only thing i will use on the stang.
