Is there a purpose for the recessed area centered at the lower portion of the rear bumper? What have people done to help the looks of that area other than replacing the rear bumper? I look at this area everyday and just scratch my head! It would look so much nicer if ford just continued the gt ground ef-x around the whole bumper!

 

I don't understand where you mean...do you mean the license plate area???

Well, once upon a time, when it existed, that is where I put my Mineral Grey Mustang Registry number at.......

Since that is no longer around, I bought a blackout for that area. Kinda hard to see in the pics.....

Does the black out panel fit well, i would want a flat black if there is such a thing! I have seen gloss black but not flat black!
