GRR check engine light

Default GRR check engine light

hey guys.....its late and im tired....and probably not thinking properly after a long night.....well i drove into austin (25 mins away) bc she needed some help.....dropped her off at her house...and i started my car to come back.....and the yellow check engine light stayed on.....i have a sct tuner....could i pull up some diagnostic codes with it?..i was wondering what you guys think i should do[:@]

You can get the code using the tuner and go to Advanced Auto or Auto Zone to find out what the code relates to. You may be able to get away with just resetting it. If its consistent, take it to your dealer.

I agree with owero01. But if the light comes back, don't erase it again. Just bring to the dealer

I wouldn't lose any sleep the check engine light is super sensitive, just leaving the gas cap loose setmany vehicles check engine light on. Most likely it is unmetered air that causes the malfunction. If you have a CAI check your connections. Auto Zone let me borrow theirs with a deposit while I was working on my wifes car.
