Did you use the spray paint or the brush on?

Ok,I've repainted mine before.I just let'em dry then roughed them up with some sand paper and cleaned
them good with rubbing alcohol. But read the direction on the can (re-coat time) if your still within this time
you can probably re-coat in the color you want without any prep,on the one you painted !

well now its been 5hrs that the paint has been on there so im gonna assume its dried. by prep do you mean roughing them with sand paper and clean? also do you know of anything that would just take the paint off

I changed mine from yellow to red. Not a problem.

Laquer thinner will do the job of complete removal if you really want to put in the time and effort. If the paint is dry and very hard to the touch a light sanding just to get the paint to adhere would most likely be sufficient. At 5 hours it has probably set enough that a light sandingwill be necessary.

I wouldn't use paint remover around your rubber lines and seals. And prep would be sand and rubbing alcohol.Sanding
might notbe necessary if paint isn't real glossy, just extra insurance for the adhesion.

Alright so my options are to finish out with the red. Paint over the red one with black, or maybe another color, or remove the paint. Ideally i think i would just want the paint to come off totally but im thinking that would be way too time consuming and frustating and would all most be like a never ending thing. what i didnt like about the red was that it seemed seemed to have stood out too much. like if you jus glanced at the car, there was the red. So im thinking going with black would be good since the car is black. whats your opinion on what i should do? i cant get this thought out of my head.
