How feasible is it to install an intercooler after the S/C is already installed? It is a vortech supercharger (btw). I know there is a ton of s/c related discussions, but i couldn't find any that specifically answered this question.

reason why you shouldn't add the

Many people install the non-cooled Vortech and upgrade later, I'm one of them. All that's needed is the upgrade parts, if you haven't already, upgrade the injectors and fuel pumps and for the Vortech it's an After-Cooler, not intercooler.The mounting of the blower rotates to change where the outlet points for the blower, instead of directly into the throttle body it now blows into the after-cooler.

Technically, an intercooler is BETWEEN compression stages. Multiple stages allow a compressor to be more effecient, by keeping the compression curve closer to that of the ideal isothermal curve, vs the adiabadic curve.

Aftercoolers are after all the compression is done.
