well think about it, how many miles does the 05 have?? you can get an 07 with 0 miles for like 19,000 i think.
I've seen as low as $15.5k for a new '07 V6 advertised in the newspaper in CA (OC Register). I was almost tempted to get a V6 because they are so cheap, but I knew if I did that, I would be constantly reminded that I should have gotten a GT every time I saw one driving around. Plus, ever since I bought my '99 Solarainstead of a '99 to '00 GT, I've been wanting a GT. So I opted to spend a little more for the GT. But I still think the V6s are a great deal, particularly if you don't have a need to humiliate ricers at stop lights like I do lol.

I am pretty sure the 05 v6s had the my color option and I know for a fact, they still had they still had the water leak issue......they might have a different spoiler though

the 07 spoiler is that flat ducktail spoiler. (im really not a fan) but if you wanted to make sure allt he kinks are out the 07 is the better choice. the 05 had alot of recall stuff. struts, gas cap. issues that could be fixed by thedealer for free but why give yourself the hassle. also they didnt do ponypackages in 05 so you wont get the neato little fogs or the rear sway bar.

but youll save money. i like my 05 specifically cause its the first year. but with no abs and no traction control... i really feel like i was testing it out for Ford.

Does the '05 PP have the GT suspensions? I know the '07 PP does.

the only performance diff is between the pony packages. There was no 05 pony package, so the 06-07 pp's outhandle all the 05's but that's about it.

To expand on the color choices, in 2005 you could get Mineral Grey and Sonic Blue. Mineral Grey was replaced with Tungsten Grey in 2006, and Sonic Blue was replaced with Vista Blue.

And our 2005 vert has the MyColor option.

A lady here at my work has an 05 vert, and it does not have the mycolor option (it could have been optional then)

And they fixed the waterleak issue on anything manufactured after 09/06? I think... which is actually the 07 model year. (at least this is what i read from another post from these forums)
