I have called the 800 # for a week now, and get the same answer clear and unscheduled my silver bullitt has been on order now sinse nov. 9th of 2004 it is driving me crazy has anyone ordered a gt with the iup, side airbags 5 speed 500 shaker and anti theft after nov 9th of 04 and have their car yet? i neeeeeeed to know robo

 

Picked up a silver one like the one you want, except for the side airbags in PA last week. Had been sitting there for four weeks. Call your local dealer and ask them to locate the car you want and maybe they'll help you swap cars between them. Otherwise, just take a trip to whereever the car is to be found.
I know about a dealer in NJ who has a white one with a stick and a silver one automatic.

 

I am in the boat as you. I ordered November 17th and still nothing. I feel your pain because I am going through the exact same thing. I don't even have a DORA or anything. The dealer is getting really PO'ed at his regional sales rep for not calling him back when he calls them. The last time I talked to him, he said "This means war!". He is even having problems getting trucks onto his lot. They are a small dealer in a small town and he usaully has about a dozen trucks but now only has 2. When I see him this week, I'll what he has to say.

 

You need to talk to your dealer! I ordered my GT with the IUP, 5 speed, active anti theft, and side airbags on December 29th and it was built yesterday. It should be parked in my garage in two to three weeks! Find a differnet dealer!

I ordered mine Oct. 22 with IUP, 5-speed, alarm, alloys, etc... (although the dealer didn't submit it until Nov. 8.) I was told it would be here Dec. 23. Then it was Jan. 24. Finally I was told that it was built and that it was to be shipped by convoy to arrive Feb. 5.
It is now Feb. 9 and still no Mustang. The dealer just shrugs his shoulders and says he doesn't know what the problem is...
This has to be the worst rollout in automotive history. My gut feeling was to wait for the 2006, and I should have gone with it.

 

Am update: It's now Feb. 14 and it appears, despite a customer service rep's assurances, that my car isn't going to be here as scheduled on the 12th... But what's four months amongst friends?
I live about 500 from the plant, so I can't figure out why it's 36 hours late on a 10-hour drive.
