They usually are secured from the inside. I used locktite on mine.

 

See the center cap on my wheels....the spinner just replaces that.

 

It turns when the wheel turns, stops when the wheel stops. Not even
close to a "spinner". Strictly a center cap.

EVER EVER AGAIN!! WHY I OUGHTA %$#%.....LOL!

btw: if you do ever see "spinners" on a Mustang...take 'em off
and smash 'em through their window.
