Default ??? about x-pipe

I have a catted Mac pro-chamber on the 'stang running straight thru pipes with tips. The problem is that it's not loud enuff. I am used to having a o/r x & magnapacks on my old '02. I want to leave the cats on, until the warranty runs out, and have a custom made x-pipe made keeping the straight thru pipes & tips. Will that make the car any louder than the pro-chamber? Thanks

I'm no expert, but from what I've read if you go back to the H-pipe you might lose some mid to high end HP.

H pipe could increase torque.

But either way, an xpipe is louder than an H. An H might be deeper, but the X is louder.
