There is plenty of room for improvement with a better track and more practice. Weather was good though 80 with humidity around 50.

So let me intoduce myself to the 12 sec club. I am a bit excited. Wooohooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mods are dr's, uca, lca, cai, 75 shot, and brenspeed tune.

 

Very good Mike - and better than the 427R was able to pull! Did you get a chance to run against him?

 

Those are nice times! The 60' times are really good. Congrats on making it into the 12's.

 

Great job. But you know, speed is like a drug. Next you will want 11's. lol

 

Jim I didnt get to run the 427r(I no longerenvy a job like that wow how boring and tedious)but I ran the yellow gt with the supercharger running massive amounts of boost(the owner said 13psi with 480whp the guy with him said 15psi with 504whp) twice very surprised that thing stays together. I showed him how to run it and got him in the 12's also I think. They asked for the times not to be announced after the beating I put on him but the last run as I wasleaving he beat that black vette and the guys with him were really excited when theygot the time slip. Thurman the 11's are aways off but before the end of the season low low 12's will be achieved.

It was good to see you did so well Mike. You had a big grin on your face when you saw your time slips.

 

I didn't have anywhere near the improvement that Mike(downriverT) had!
Didn't set any new personal bests, but was fairly consistent all day, times were mid to lower 15's - still can't get back to the 14's.

Still getting some spin off the line, but my 60' is starting to drop back to where it was when I hit the 14's, although my top speed seems to have dropped as well since going to the 3.73's and TLok. Maybe with some stickier tires, the dyno tune by Lidio, and new LCA's...... I've been trying different things to get a better launch and reduce the 60' - sometimes I left the TCS on to see if that helped, and it looks like I may have quicker 60' with it on.[/align][/align]Mike was doing great, and showing us how it's done![/align]
