Default Automatic Transmission Oil Change

Has anybody had their auto trans fluid changed or changed it themselves?Who do you take it to? How long are your intervals? Hassle putting the fluid backin? This really bugs me that I can't check my trans fluid.

I have 10.5k miles and have not done it yet. I dont know but would imagine the dealer I bought it from(@8500miles) did not change it. I'm going to have to look in my haynes manual and see what it takes for that job. You can install an aftermarket pan which will give you that option as well as holding more fluid than stock but that is the only way I know of to beable to check your trans fuild.

I talked to another guy about a aftermarket oil pan and he said he had problems with it dragging the ground.

The ones I have seen shouldnt drop below the frame rails, if your lowered ya I could see that as a possible issue but stock ride height it shouldnt be.

PMPParts has a good selection of pans to choose from.
