Default sct livewire question

I am just about ready to take the plunge to a cold air intake and a tuner. My question is, with the LIVEWIRE, do i always have to have it plugged into my car, or can i load the tune and remove it. I realize the purpose of the LIVEWIRE is to monitor your cars performance, but i cant see having that thing always attached to my front windshield and having the wire drapped over my radio all the time. Is it worth it or should i just get gauges and a gauge pod? Thanks

All you do is load the tune and remove the tuner. It doesn't stay plugged into the car at all times.

I have the livewire and you just load the tune and you can disconnect it. If you have a manual trans and want to use it make sure you get the right angle cable for the obdII connector. The straight one is no fun with the manual.
