It looks great. I think the grill would look better if you added the chrome foglight overlays, that way you would get rid of the black around the fogs, which seems out of place IMO.

The grilles came with the car. I do know that American Muscle has a set that look exactly the same. Here is a link:

I didn't like the grilles until after I removed the stripes. I'm definitely liking them more now. I may end up painting them black though.

The replacement grills look way better than the overlays. First because the overlays for the GT usually come in 3 pieces instead of one, and second because the cross bars on the overlay grill are set really close together to hide the real grill behind them. The bars look better spaced out some so as not to look to crowded.

Hell, if the overlay was already on the car when you bought it you may as well keep it. I'm not trying to dog you though, your car looks good either way.

You will not have to trim or change anything when using the lower grill with the CDC Classic Chin. That is what I have and neitherpart interferes with the other.

As far as the replacement vs overlay, I don't think it matters much really but if you want less bars you will need the replacement apparently. I actually think the overlays that came with my car are just about perfect. It's all personal taste I suppose. I may remove them in the future but I think I'lltry painting them first.

I wish there were more grill options for our stangs. The factory grills look cheap at places, but I don't really like the metal ones. I'd like to see a nice, clean, neat, non-outrageous grill that doesn't stand out like itis an add-on. How hard would it have been for Ford to make the factory grills open with the honeycomb designed grid? I've considered cutting the two outer holes out on the lower grill with a dremel or something. I'd like to keep the three posts intact, but the outer closed sections just look dumb.
