Default Help a friend

My friend just got a 2007 Ford F-150 with a 5.4L engine. Since he knows I love this forum, he asked me what mods he could do for more HP, etc...

Can anyone help or 1) recommend mods or 2) another forum for him?

Thanks all!!

You've always been really helpful - what's up today? I know there are other forums... Just looking to help a friend - it IS a Ford...

Thanks anyway.

Is it the same engine as the GT500? If so ask those guys. I would guess you could get the same benefits from a CAI and tune.

now wait a minute....in your original post, you had 2) another forum.....that is exactly what i told you, he should look into the f150 forum.....how is this not helpful.

The goals of a mustang are completely different from those of a F150....we lower our car, they lift their trucks. You can do some tuning like a new intake and tune, but its not the same as it is for our cars, you are asking the wrong crowd. Some people here might have good experience in both but most will answer based on the experience they have with their mustangs.

Would you go to one of these sites and ask them questions about the 5.4L on a GT500?
