I'm new to this forum and modding in general. I drive a black gt and love the look of black wheels with a polished lip on a black car. I also like the look of all black(flat black) wheels on a dark colored car like a gunmetal color. I've never seen any flat black wheels on a black car and was looking for some opinions on it and any pics that anyone can find. I have searched extensively(or so i think) and cannot find any. Any opinions and pics would be a great help.

 

There is a Flat black Saleen wheel floating around, one of the sponsers was selling them

 

are there any pictures of them on a black mustang??

 

seniorsmith used to have the 5-spoke black saleen rims on his black GT, but now he has black powdercoated stock bullitts. His sig has a black and white pic of it. I have a pic of his stang with the black saleens on my home computer. I'll post it later if I remember. They are not flat black though. They are the regular shiny painted black. If you go to www.saleen.com you can see the car they made for the Transformers movie.....a black saleen police car with the 20" black 7-spoke saleens....powdercoated, I think. It does look awesome! I was considering all black rims too, but couldn't find any I liked. Black on black is a really mean look. The flat black rim might clash with the glossy black paint. Unless if you maybe added some flat black stripes.

One good thing about wheels is you can have them powder coated in any color you want. Just pick out what kind of wheel you like and have them powder coated black. I love the black on black look. That`s what I`m going with if I go with a black car rather than alloy.

Go to www.tirerack.com and look at wheels. The have an interactive feature that will let you view the wheels on your car.
