It is possible. You just need very low prfofile tires. We're running 25 series tires on the back of our show car and 30 up front. It is on a coilover setup though. It can look good if properly done.
Im all about 20s and run em on my stang but I, too, believe there is a limit and I just think 22s are a bit much for our stangs, UNLESS, you are just strictly going to show the car and not drive it much at all.

Mustang lovers all have differences in preferences, no need to get nasty about someone who doesn't agree with you
