how far apart should the stripes be?? don't mean to hijack your thread but i'm looking to get new stripes (definitely going with the 10") and am not sure about the center spacing. honestly i just saw a black roush that had flat black stripes and it look baaaad ****. you might want to google for some pics of that... just something to think about

You have got to see both and decide what YOU like better. Some will like one over the other but that's what "they" like. Opinions are cool and all but you have to live with what you choose. My advice is to look as both 10 & 12, plain and metallic. I looked at many, different sizes and colors, metal and no metal but in the end I went with what I liked. Everyone that see's my car in person loves them and 99% of them ask if they are painted and that is just a bonus because I love them. Since I gotta pay the note on the car that's who I care about the most.

Hopefully some others will give some pics for you to compare.

10" plain, 2" space is what I have. The metallic had a finish that did not match what I thought it would look like, also the 12's are much harder to wrap around my wing because of the lines but a stock wing or the likes may be more easy.

Good luck.

10" witha 2" gap is what I prefer. That's how the GT500 is and I think it looks just right.
