Those prices are high for a reason:
It is because the of the full warranty that comes with it.
If you change those parts yourself, they can deny you any warraty claim on said parts.
Furthermoore those cheap bastards are going to try and say your valve got burned because you had a CAI on the car.
By instaling it for you and charging a **** load to do, the dealer gets money to do what any of us can do and claiming it was done differently.
The whole thing is a mafia type rachet [8D]

I made a mistake, it wasn't a Hypertech tuner I seen for $100, it was a Superchips tuner. But still...
