beautiful car, except for those ugly *** yellow fog lights. yuck!

and from my experience, mods will not increase the value of your car, and may in fact hurt it, as most buyers correctly believe that if it's modded, it's been driven hard. and a 07 with all those miles, wow. good luck. i'd say if you can get 20-22k, take it and run!!! i'd expect 20k would be a good starting point.

Unless you buy something other than a Stang, you need to hang onto what you have. It's sweet and you are just throwing away $$ by trading up. Chill until there is a significant re-fresh done.

I've been to a lot of dealers and have some dealer friends. If you trade your car in for a new 2008, they won't give you what you want for it...no more than $20K possibly. To a dealer, all the add on and things that aren't stock, they considered the car worth less, unfortunately. I'd recommend selling it privately first because I've made the mistake of trading a car in and not getting what I could have privately. You MIGHT get $25K if you find the right buyer. I'm sure you'd get at least $23K for it You never know though...I've seen used 2007s for at least $25K a couple times though. Good luck!

I never said anythign about trading the car in. Trading in a car unless its on a lease is a joke. I always sell my cars outright privately

Absolutely! I have a loaded '06 premium GT I bought last November, sticker was 31k,(although I got it for 27k), a dealer wanted to give me 16k for it on trade-in last month!!!??!!

Not being a wise-***, but your car is really only worth what someone will pay for it. Because of all the mods, that could be high or low, depending on the buyer. You might be able to find someone who really loves the mods and is willing to pay extra for them. I would strongly emphasize the "cover car" aspect in ads and to prospective buyers, as it lends credence to the perceived value of the mods. I would start at a price that you think is a little high and see what buyers say. You can always drop the price, if necessary. After all, it doesn't sound like you are in a "need-to-sell" situation. So take your time. The "right" customer could mean significant extra bucks in your pocket.

My point exactly, I was just kicking around the idea and thought id get some input from the MF community. Im in no rush and im usually firm in my prices. Everytime the right buyer does come along and it may take a little longer but that is expected on a modified vehicle
