Default Than you !!

Thank you guy's for helping me all the time... I just changed my fuel filter for the first time in 47,000 miles... The response of the car is back. Here are some pics of the damage.

I'm only at 15K, but I need to do this, since my car is over 2.5 years....Your pics remind me of my throttle body after I cleaned it last week.....

i just helped a friend change the fuel filter
on an '05 Taurus (filter looks similar, if not same).

the car had 30,000 miles but there was no dirt or filth
like i see in those photos.....this is interesting..

nice job on the R&R btw

how do you clean the throttle body? if you don't mind me asking, would love to do that .... if it helps the car.

My car has around 41K and I just changed my fuel filter for the first time saturday and man it feels brand spankin' new!

Pick up a can of throttle body cleaner at the local auto parts store. NOT carb cleaner, but TB cleaner. Remove your air intake from the throttle body. Hold a rag under the throttle body. Spray the cleaner for about 5 seconds or so. Let it run out onto the rag. Then use a clean rag to wipe down the butterflies inside the throttle body. Again, NO CARB CLEANER....Can damage your TB lining. Pretty simple, takes about 20 minutes or so.
